Paul, Apostle of Christ Soon In Theaters Nation Wide

Christian films have come a long way and I'm so happy that they are being played more often in mainstream theaters so everyone can see them and receive their inspirational and encouraging messages.
I can't wait to see the movie Paul, Apostle of Christ. It opens in theaters nationwide a week before Easter Friday, March 23, 2018.

PAUL, APOSTLE OF CHRIST is the story of two men. Luke (Jim Caviezel), as a friend and physician, risks his life every time he ventures into the city of Rome to visit Paul (James Faulkner), who is held captive in Nero’s darkest, bleakest prison cell. Before Paul’s death sentence can be enacted, Luke and Paul resolve to write another book, one that details the beginnings of “The Way” and the birth of what will come to be known as the church. But Nero is determined to rid Rome of Christians, and does not inch from executing them in the grisliest ways possible.
Bound in chains, Paul’s struggle is internal. He has survived so much—floggings, shipwreck, starvation, stoning, hunger and thirst, cold and exposure—yet as he waits for his appointment with death, he is haunted by the shadows of his past misdeeds. Alone in the dark, he wonders if he has been forgotten ... and if he has the strength to nish well.
Two men struggle against a determined emperor and the frailties of the human spirit in order to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ as an example to an unbelieving world.

Here's the teaser trailer:

The MPAA has rated the film PG-13 for some violent content and disturbing images
   Running time is 1:47 min

I Ended Up In The ER

Hi my beautiful readers,
Sorry for being MIA but I was dealing with an unexpected health issue. Can you believe it? I had a kidney stone?
It all happened on Sunday at 1:20 am. During the day, I was feeling good and even got to wear my new heels. I visited our friend's church and listened to the message by my loving sister in law who is also a pastor and was visiting from Boston. The word was great and when church finished, I went to my in laws for dinner and even got my hair cut from a lovely friend. Then after, I went home to change and got ready for a meeting with our church Youth Leaders, we all had a great dinner and a great time.

I showered when I got home, ate some mixed nuts, brushed my teeth and went to bed then it all happened. A pain I have never experienced before all at once and wouldn't want to wish on anyone. To me it felt like labor pain mixed with gastritis pain mixed with a horrendous Charley Horse. I tried getting up but ended up rolling on the floor and screaming. My hubby woke up and thought it was a muscle spasm so he tried massages and lifting my body up with a belt but it was not helping or working. So then he took me to a hot shower but before I got in I threw up twice in the sink.
I got into the shower but the pain on my right side on my waist wanted to travel to the front so he insisted I go to the ER. I did go and the staff were friendly, attentive and comforting. My diagnosis was a kidney stone that I had passed while I was at home.
Thankfully after prayer and meds, I am back to normal and I don't want to ever go through that again.
There was no warning this was going to occur but It did so and very suddenly, I might add. So if you get a pain you can't resist, please get it checked out asap.

Here's how I looked before all the pain and drama
by the way if you like the shoes, they are 50% off now and available here: Pom Pom Shoes
Then after ugh:( this was the picture I texted my mom.
I thank God it was only one stone and I didn't need surgery.
God healed me for he is Jehovah Rapha the Great Physician.

God bless you all and I hope that if you are in need of healing today wether it be spiritual or physical, that you look to God and pray to him for your Healing...

The Hubby's Favorite Flower

Press SampleProduct given for testing and review purposes.

My husband's favorite flowers are orchids. As we were preparing for our wedding in 2001, he asked if I could incorporate them into my rose bouquet. So, I knew how much it meant to him. Last year, I bought him a real orchid plant and he loved it but unfortunately it died. This December for the Christmas season, I was asked to review any flower or plant I liked from the site They have a variation of silk flowers and plants, my favorite are the Gerbera Daisies but I wanted to surprise my loving and supportive hubby with a new life like silk orchid plant.

The orchid plant came nicely packaged in a long cardboard box with bubble wrap around the smooth tan ceramic planter. The orchids are a bright cream color with a soft texture. The front leaves feel like soft rubber and are posable. The bamboo stick holds the stems nicely and the planter is filled with styrofoam and fantasy moss.
The great thing about this Phalaenopsis orchid plant is that it will never die only get dusty, which is fine by me because it can be cherished for years to come just by wiping it down with a cloth.  I really love how it looks in my breakfast nook and it measures  25" x 15.5" x 12 which makes it a stunning centerpiece.

My husband is away in China on a business trip but when he returns, this beauty will await him and so will I. 😉

Thanks so much to the guys over at 3d Wall Panels for providing these beautiful silk flowers.

If you like this plant, it is available here for $68.99

Mandisa Out of the Dark

Press Sample: Product given for testing and review purposes from Propeller Consulting, LLC

I have been a fan of Mandisa's voice ever since she was a contestant on American Idol season 5, I  especially loved when she sang Mary Mary's Shackles. It has been 4 years now since she released "Overcomer" that won her a grammy.

Mandisa wrote her song “Overcomer” in 2013 to encourage her close friend Kisha, who was battling breast cancer. Mandisa really believed and prayed that God was going to heal her, but when Kisha went to be with Jesus in 2014, Mandisa’s foundation was shaken in a way she never expected. She fell into a deep pit of depression for close to 3 years, shutting out her friends, family and the rest of the world. Mandisa believes if she had kept going down that road she was on, she would not be here today… but God stepped in and lifted her out of that pit by using her close friends to communicate their love for her and God’s love for her. This album is Mandisa’s way of letting her fans into her story – it’s called 'Out Of The Dark' because that is exactly where God lifted her out of!
You can watch her talk openly about this on Good Morning America last week here:

In this new CD titled "Out of the Dark", She takes us through what she went through and how her friends and family were her spiritual rock that did not let her stay down and lost.

This cd is full of encouragement, inspiration and hope and it really lets us into Mandisas life and the struggles she faced and how she overcame them and how we too can overcome, bounce back and be that come back kid by standing on the word of God and surrounding ourselves with positive people.

The CD contains 15 tracks with three bonus ones.

Spring Break 2017 on The Carnival Conquest

Hello Friends😁
I know, I have been MIA so I wanted to share with you some Spring Break Vacay pics from my Carnival Conquest cruise. My hubby surprised the kids and I to an 8 day experience at sea visiting beautiful islands such as Grand Turk, The Dominican Republic, Curaçao and Aruba.
Unfortunately, it was rainy in Grand Turk so we decided not to get off the ship because we had already visited the beach there two years ago which was gorgeous. So, we stayed on board and I got to take some pics from the deck.

     Grand Turk

Then we headed to La Romana in the beautiful Dominican Republic. Everyone we encountered was friendly. We didn't do excursions but we did get a taxi who charged us a great price and took us and stayed with us while being our tour guide. His name was Alex and he drove us through a luxurious resort called Casa de Campo, a breaktaking river view of Altos de Chavon and a 16th century replica of a Mediterranean village and into town where we shared a meal together at Pica Pollo.

                      La Romana

The movies Anaconda and Rambo were filmed here at this pool as well some other films.

The three important instruments used in playing the genre of Merengue Tipico.
The accordion, the tambora and the güira:)
My daughter trying to play the güira:)

My little guy played the güira well:)

Many famous singers such as Frank Sinatra and latin artists have sung and played here at this 5,000 seat amphitheater. Jlo will be singing here next in April. I actually got recorded doing a sound check of one of my songs here. LOL all in fun and experience.

Heres an old but beautiful and peaceful Catholic church in La Romana.

I just loved the artwork in one of the shops it reads " Jesus is the bread of life"
Here's Alex:) Lord bless him. He is a great tour guide.

My sweet wire artisan bracelet with my name on it, so precious and unique.
A man named Miguel after my father, crafted it right before my eyes.

La Romana was so beautiful! I'm so happy my kids got to experience a little bit of the Dominican Culture. I'm Puerto Rican so they are our neighbors and they definitely expressed that with a warm welcome when we arrived. 💖

Stay tuned for more pictures of our Carnival Conquest Cruise. Next Curaçao!
