The Yanola Floral Print Kimono

Press SampleProduct given for testing and review purposes at a discounted price.

This chiffon kimono was perfect for the concert I recently sang at.
It's very flowy, not that sheer and the floral print is very colorful and vivid.

I'm 5'2 and with my 4 inch heels it fit just right. This one size kimono from Yonala is intended to be worn as a swimsuit cover up but I'd rather keep it in my closet to be apart of my fashion wardrobe so I can pair with a skirt, shorts, leggings or skinny jeans. In the pictures below, I paired it with some soft pink jeggings and a black cami and to accessorize with a black chocker and a long tassel pendant.
You can get this cute kimono for $14.99 on Amazon. Link is below...

Awesome Jesus Tees And My New Song In the Midst of the Storm

As many of you may or may not know last year in 2015, I was going through an illness in my body that almost led us to believe it was cancer. I was going through the wringer with many tests and exams and through it all I was trusting in Jesus and praised him in the midst of the storm.
Although, when I tried to sing in the beginning of the storm my voice would not come out because of the pain I would feel in my body. However, the Holy Spirit gave me this song to write and sing and when I had more strength, I was able to use my voice again for his people and for his glory! I am healed now and I thank God for it everyday!
Today someone needs His healing physically, emotionally and mentally so if this is you, listen to the lyrics of this song and carry it in your heart and on your mind and be encouraged and hopeful. Jesus is our healer! I want to thank my sista friend Lissette Silva for reminding me of what God has given me to share with the world.
Prayer is powerful! And miracles and Healing still exist!
In this video below, I was sick but still hopeful in my miracle from above...Have a blessed day❤️🙏🏼

These were the words I posted on my FB page when I shared this accapella video of me singing "In the Midst of the Storm.
As people were watching, liking, sharing and receiving encouragement from the song, it touched a Christian T-shirt retailer to contact me on Instagram. He said every month he helps out ministries by sharing some of the proceeds from his shirt sales and asked if I wanted to be a part of it as well. I was so touched by his offer that I said Wow at first and then yes. Why? because not many do this and this person does because he has a heart to help others.

I asked him if he would be able to make a design including my song title because it was so personal to me and he happily agreed.
I am so delighted with this design and I wear it knowing what I was going through and where God has me now.
This shirt design is truly a testament of remaining still and trusting in God through it all.

Awesome Jesus Tees was gracious enough to feature me on their website wearing the shirt. Since some of the proceeds go to my singing ministry, I would love to record my song "In the Midst of the Storm" and share it to the world to bring encouragement, hope and peace.

Ladies, Would you like to sow in this new recording and wear this shirt yourself and be a witness of what God has pulled you through or out of? If so you can order your shirt here at Awesome Jesus Tees for $22.99 with free shipping or if you are not interested in purchasing a shirt and would like to donate directly to my ministry so I can prepare a budget to record this new song, you can send donations through paypal at
I thank you from the bottom of my heart and may God bless you all.

It's so stylish and fashionable, that I pretended to walk the run way at a well known store and asked the hubby to take pics of me. Lol I was just having fun. Overall, this Homeyee vintage style dress can be worn to the office or a night on the town.

This is such a pretty delicate summer dress from the brand She In that reminds me of something Jane would wear from the movie Descendants, only because it's soft and feminine and in her color light blue. The dress is sleeveless and has a beautiful scalloped design on the hem as well. The material is made out of  98% Polyester and 2% Spandex. Since the dress has a round neck, it will look good with a long chain or pendant or a statement necklace.
I ordered a Small and it fit just right. For sizing references, I'm 109 pounds with a 34 B bust, a 27 inch waist at 5'2 inches tall.
In the pictures below, I wore it with a chunky embellished statement necklace, a chain necklace and both looked great and stylish.

Pearl Necklace With Earbuds

This is such a chic set of earbuds and they look unique and beautiful. I have never seen ear buds designed in this fashion, it kind of reminded me of the fashion chains that hold the eyeglasses in place. The color is light pink and salmon and it is embellished with big rhinestones, beads and pearls.
I tried these ear buds on my computer, iPhone 5 and Nokia Lumia and it worked great although I wish the button function would do more than described like go to the next youtube video but these are definitely great for watching a movie or listening to music and talking on the cell phone.
I love they way they look on, it's like wearing a beautiful fancy necklace and it looks very girly girl. These are great for young girls and older women. My 10 year old loves them too, so I might get her a pair for her birthday.
The bright hot pink packaging is really cute as well with a heart on the box. The ear buds come with a fuchsia velvet like drawstring pouch for storage and with extra earbud covers. Fashion ear buds like these will definitely be a conversation piece and they make a great gift.
The design is great, the length is great and the sound quality is superb.

Let's Talk about Hair Shadowing and Chalk Moussing

Since I was a little girl, I have always liked the color pink and now at the age of 41, I still feel the same way.
I have been letting my gray grow out for 3 years now and it has been a not so easy but beautiful journey. The not so easy part was growing it out in stages, being three toned. LOL After the transition, I felt confident and liberated.
The pattern on my hair is unique and I have learned to accept it. I have not fully gone gray yet so I do not know the turnout but for now I’m happy. However, just because I let my gray in and decided not to dye my hair anymore does not mean I can’t have a different color or colors from time to time to change it up and have fun.
I’m talking about color that will wash out easily and does no harm to the tresses. I happened to really like the Pink hair trend and so I own a pink wig but it ’s too long to wear all the time so I did a post on one of the gray groups I belong to and asked for some hair advice on what sprays work best for temporary hair color. I really didn’t get an answer to the spray but Alison who happens to be a fellow Silver Sister said to try eyeshadow on the hair.
I tried hair chalking with a paint pod called Hot Huez before and that was a mess and a pain. It stained my hair for a while but eyeshadow for the hair sounded very interesting. I began to search online and found a Youtube channel by Naturally Tash and she pretty much does hair shadowing. I was thrilled, so I decided to try it but not with shadow because I didn’t want to ruin mine so I used a  pink powder blush I didn’t use as much.
Wow! what a difference it made. The application process was easy on dry hair. I used my fingers at first but then I ran the blush from the little compact right on my hair. After the hair shadowing, I sprayed it with hairspray and Voila I had cool pink hair until I washed it out, which was two days max.
Beware of color on your fingers but it will wash off with soap and water. Before you hair shadow make sure you already have the desired hair style you want too.
Here were my results!

On that same post I got a suggestion by an amazing artist, I mean her paintings will blow you away. Since she’s an artist I took her advice and when I saw her results I decided to try that method as well. Her name is Chrissy by the way you should check her page out called Vintage Painter.
Chrissy had an idea of using her hair pastels with hair mousse mixed together and then you would just spread it where ever you want the color. Her hair is a shade of beautiful white and she has a pixie cut so it covered her hair blue instantly and entirely when she used the blue pastel chalk.

How is it done? Here are the steps…

Step 1: Choose a non toxic water based pastel chalk color you like
Step 2: Use a grater or a magic bullet like I did to grind it up. please do not inhale the dust, it is harmful.
Step 3: pick your favorite mousse and put on some gloves
Step 4: Mix in the chalk with the mousse to create a colored mousse.
Step 5: On dry or dampened hair, spread the mousse where you want to color
Step 6: hairspray to set or allow the mouse to air dry
Step 7: comb it out a bit and you’re done!

This all lasts until you wash it out, 2 days max for me and I did not use the hairspray, that was optional.
With grating make sure it is finely milled or you will have tiny rock pieces like I did which was not fun going in your hair.  I combed it out and it made a mess on the floor. But lesson learned on that one. LOL
Overall, I was very pleased with the results although the blush and shadow is way easier and less time consuming, “Chalk Moussing “ was fun ( just made the name up). LOL and had great results as well.
I inspired quite a few ladies to try it and they too were excited and pleased with the results. Give it a try, you never know you may like it.
