Tarte Double Duty Dream Big Amazonian Clay Palette

I don't understand why this palette is not getting the love it deserves. The Double Duty Tarte Dream Big 8 pan Amazonian clay eyeshadow palette has a wonderful scent of a chocolate desert and the shades are soft, buttery and pigmented.
This is my very first Tarte palette and I am very impressed.

Since the name of the palette is Dream Big, the encouraging and inspirational shade names go perfectly with it in mattes and metallics!
They are
  • This Is It (rose gold)
  • All In (deep rose)
  • Go For It (brown)
  • You Can (gold)
  • Happening (plum)
  • Hustle (black luster)
  • Ambitious (cream)
  • Risk Taker (pale pink shimmer)

Here is a look I created with this palette. I really like how the colors blended well and the staying power lasted 8 hours under a good primer and or concealer.

For the Crease: happening
 Brow bone: ambitious
 Lid: This is it
 Outer corner: all in
Lower lash line: happening and all in
 Brows: Divaderme in Cappuccino Brown
 Liner: Starlooks
 Mascara: UD perversion Concealer:
Amazing Cosmetics hydrate concealer in light golden
Mineral Powder Foundation: Mica Beauty
Blush: Tarte Doll Face
Highlighter: Mary Lou Manizer
Lips: Wet n Wild Never Petal Down liner topped with a pink metallic gloss.

The Tarte Dream Big is Limited edition and it's available at Ulta stores or www.ulta.com or Tarte.com for 30 Bucks.
I took advantage of Ulta's 20 percent sale and got it for 25 bucks.
Overall, This palette is beautiful, it smells great and works with all eye colors.

ColourPop New Ultra Metallic Lip Collection : Treat Wave, Sandwishes & Dirty Birdy

ColourPop has done it again with their metallic lippies! These liquid metallic lipsticks are not only beautiful but they are very pigmented, silky, long wearing and give your lips a gorgeous and unique metallic finish. I wear these with a lip liner and I'm good to go but you can also opt to wear them alone or on top of a different color lipstick.
Colourpop has very affordable prices and they always ship their products with a cute little note.
I already had owned 4 of the metallic lippies in the colors Zebra, Man Eater, 3 Way and Flitter and now to add to my collection, I just added the three new ones in Treat Wave, Sandwishes and Dirty Birdy.
In the pictures below, you will see these beauties swatched on my hand. They are having a sale now with free shipping for a limited time so go check them out at ColourPop.com.

The Glassesshop.com Grand Prairie Wayfarer and 50 % Off for You

I got very excited when GlassesShop.Com reached out to me to review one of their eyeglasses.
Finding glasses online is not an easy task. There are so many styles and sizes to choose from so you need to know not only your prescription but PD (pupillary distance) as well. All this info you can acquire from your eye doctor. Thankfully, I have my prescription info so it makes shopping for eyewear easier but the decision making can still be challenging. After looking through their website, I picked out a frame that matched my new hair color. These glasses are so pretty in pink and purple and they are called the Grand Prairie Wayfarer. Yes, they are bigger than my normal ones but that's ok because they still fit me well and I'm absolutely pleased with them. They are fashionable and comfortable to wear because they have no nose grips.

My new specs came in a sleek plastic case with the company's  logo on it and a cloth to clean them.
This site has an array of styles and also carry prescription sunglasses as well.
I have good news for you! GlassesShop.com is offering my readers a 50% discount on their frames with free lenses including sunglasses. (Sale frames excluded) just type this code GSHOT50 at checkout.
Here are some more pictures of my cool new glasses :)

Good day my friends,
I'm all about finding new ways to store my beauty brushes and makeup sponges. This new acrylic makeup brush organizer is not only spacious and beautiful, it organizes and keeps your beauty items dust free. I like that it comes with pink pearls for decor and for holding the brushes in place. It also has 3 small side deep drawers to hold your beauty sponges or blenders or small items like blushes or lippies. You can really get creative with this organizer and add other items besides brushes, the option is yours. I'm using it to store my Sonia Kashuk brush set among others and the 2 beauty sponges I own and in one of the other drawers, a mini Tarte blush and Bare Minerals mini powder.

The HABIBEE Acrylic Makeup Cosmetics Organizer

can be found on Amazon for $32.99 with Prime.

Beauty For Real Blush + Glo Cream Blush and Luminizer In The Pink

This is a beautiful blush and highlight duo called In The Pink and it smells wonderful as well like vanilla cupcakes. I found that the blush is very creamy, easy to apply and pigmented. The highlighter melted into my skin and gave a beautiful natural glow. In the sunlight, you are able to see my pink flushed cheeks with a natural glow. I did have to lock it in with my banana setting powder in order for it to last. This product can disappear on the skin if blended too much at first application so I had to reapply another layer for it to show, so it's not highly pigmented but it does have pigment for that natural flush. Stay tuned for more products I got from Beauty For Real. You can check them out on www.beautyforreal.com and also purchase some of their products on Amazon for a bit less.

The Circular Flat Foundation Brush from Coshine

This is a very unique circular flat foundation brush from Coshine and It reminds me of a barber shop brush for beards when you shave. But, it also looks like a dupe for the O! Circle Bush from the cosmetics brand called Cailyn. I do not own Caiyln's so I can not compare and other companies are branding it as well. However, from what I see it looks the same, packaging and all but costs way way less. Now, back to this odd looking brush. LOL It is compact and cute and comes with a protective plastic storage case.
The bristles on this brush are packed and dense and it applies and blends my liquid BB cream flawlessly. I was hoping that it would feel softer on my face like the oval make up brushes but it felt kind of hard and stiff because of it's density and packed bristles and flat shape. I wonder if Caiyln's feels the same. However, I was able to apply my concealer with it as well and it reached my nose and under eye area perfectly. Overall, It's easy to use, easy to hold, it did not hurt or irritate my face and it did a great job with the creamy, liquid and powder products I used with it and it's great for travel. I also like that it cleans easily and dries over night.
Cost: $12.99 vs $69.00

Aesthetica Small Powder Contour and Blending Makeup Brush

This is such a soft brush and I found it to be multipurpose. I not only used it to apply and blend my crease shadow, I used it to apply shadow on the brow bone, used it for my outer corner and lower lash line. In order for me to use it to do my whole eye, I had to wipe shadow off with tissue then continue application. I used my Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette because this shadow is super pigmented and I wanted to put the Aesthetica brush to the test and it passed. Yay! I was so very pleased with my Smokey eye look. I never used it for contouring but you can definitely contour your eye crease with it. Overall, this brush is soft and dense and oddly shaped for a blending brush but as it strokes, it's fluffy and blends beautifully. I have yet to try it with cream or liquid products but I will soon. A small vegan and cruelty free brush that applies and blends like a dream? Yes, is not a dream any longer. LOL Great Job Aesthetica!

Beauty For Real D-light Lip Gloss

This is such a beautiful lip gloss in the color D-Light which is a pigmented soft pink. It does look darker in the tube and when swatched so you kind of get the element of surprise with D-Light on your lips. The gloss is non sticky and it is very minty which smells nice and refreshes the lips at the same time. I also like that on this lippie there is a light on the wand and a mirror on the tube for a beautiful and precise lit lip application.
Since it's a lip gloss, it does fade but I don't mind reapplying because it smells so good. This gloss is paraben and cruelty free which is a bonus, made in the USA and is infused with aloe vera, Avocado Oil, Grape Seed, Green Tea and Peppermint Oil. Overall, a beautiful gloss with shine.
Stay tuned for more products I got from Beauty For Real. You can check them out on www.beautyforreal.com and also purchase some of their products on Amazon for a bit less.

Catch The Wave Maker With Deva Curl

Press SampleProduct given for testing and review purposes.

I belong to a going gray group on FB where many beautifully curly haired women have used the Deva Curl System. I was very curious to what that was and even asked but unfortunately did not get an answer.
So, I googled Deva Curl and my jaw dropped at such an extensive line they carry for curly haired and wavy haired girls like me. I was very excited to try it for the first time and I also noticed specific salons that specialize in Deva cuts meaning the salon artist will cut your hair to maximize your waves or curls so the style won’t look weighed down.

Have I peeked your interest?  I hope so because Deva Curl was generous enough to send me samples to test out on my waves. I prefer to air dry my hair and prefer to let it go wild and wavy with volume instead of straightening. Curling my hair and straightening my hair come in phases for me but my waves have been taking center stage especially since my chin length WOB. (A Wavy Bob)
Deva Curl hooked it up with full size products that are 100 % Sulfate, Paraben and Silicone Free and made for me.

The products I received are as follows:
The Low-Poo Delight such a confusing name especially with the word Poo. LOL But it's short for shampoo but you are not shampooing with the traditional lather, it's milder. It's slicker and smoother and weightless and it feels great on my hair not to mention the wonderful scent it has.
The second is, it's bestie which is the One Condition Delight. This conditioner smells amazing and really moisturizes the hair with out weighing it down.
The third companion, is new to the line and it's called Deva Curl Wave maker. A touchable texture whip infused with moringa seed and passion flower extract to define waves and leave them frizz -free.

I recently went on a weekend getaway and took all three with me to try out. Here are my experiences, expressions and my results.

After I washed and conditioned, I wrapped my hair in a microfiber towel and got ready. I then scrunched my hair with the same micro fiber towel.

So far I was pleased. Next was to try the Wave Maker and yes I was skeptical.

After I ran it through my hair and a little was all I needed, I used the towel again to scrunch up.

Ready for the results? Here's one side done! I totally the saw the difference.

Wait theres more! LOL

And more!

Tada! Loved it
Hello Defined Waves! Watch what happened when It completely air dried.

Ooh, I want to be a spokesperson for this fabulous product! Hahaha
After I came back to the hotel an hour later I couldn't stop touching my hair. It felt so soft, so touchable, so weightless. I even took more selfies but this time to show love for it on social media and how it left my hair.

After trying this line I don't ever want to use regular shampoo again if I don't have to. This was truly a wonderful experience and it left my hair looking better than ever. After my product runs out I will be purchasing more.
You can find these products or the ones that will be suited for your hair type on www.devacurl.com or at Ulta, Sephora, and Sally Beauty Supply.

Thank you Deva Curl! My hair has been changed!
