Pearl Necklace With Earbuds

Press SampleProduct given for testing and review purposes.

This is such a chic set of earbuds and they look unique and beautiful. I have never seen ear buds designed in this fashion, it kind of reminded me of the fashion chains that hold the eyeglasses in place. The color is light pink and salmon and it is embellished with big rhinestones, beads and pearls.
I tried these ear buds on my computer, iPhone 5 and Nokia Lumia and it worked great although I wish the button function would do more than described like go to the next youtube video but these are definitely great for watching a movie or listening to music and talking on the cell phone.
I love they way they look on, it's like wearing a beautiful fancy necklace and it looks very girly girl. These are great for young girls and older women. My 10 year old loves them too, so I might get her a pair for her birthday.
The bright hot pink packaging is really cute as well with a heart on the box. The ear buds come with a fuchsia velvet like drawstring pouch for storage and with extra earbud covers. Fashion ear buds like these will definitely be a conversation piece and they make a great gift.
The design is great, the length is great and the sound quality is superb.

Let's Talk about Hair Shadowing and Chalk Moussing

Since I was a little girl, I have always liked the color pink and now at the age of 41, I still feel the same way.
I have been letting my gray grow out for 3 years now and it has been a not so easy but beautiful journey. The not so easy part was growing it out in stages, being three toned. LOL After the transition, I felt confident and liberated.
The pattern on my hair is unique and I have learned to accept it. I have not fully gone gray yet so I do not know the turnout but for now I’m happy. However, just because I let my gray in and decided not to dye my hair anymore does not mean I can’t have a different color or colors from time to time to change it up and have fun.
I’m talking about color that will wash out easily and does no harm to the tresses. I happened to really like the Pink hair trend and so I own a pink wig but it ’s too long to wear all the time so I did a post on one of the gray groups I belong to and asked for some hair advice on what sprays work best for temporary hair color. I really didn’t get an answer to the spray but Alison who happens to be a fellow Silver Sister said to try eyeshadow on the hair.
I tried hair chalking with a paint pod called Hot Huez before and that was a mess and a pain. It stained my hair for a while but eyeshadow for the hair sounded very interesting. I began to search online and found a Youtube channel by Naturally Tash and she pretty much does hair shadowing. I was thrilled, so I decided to try it but not with shadow because I didn’t want to ruin mine so I used a  pink powder blush I didn’t use as much.
Wow! what a difference it made. The application process was easy on dry hair. I used my fingers at first but then I ran the blush from the little compact right on my hair. After the hair shadowing, I sprayed it with hairspray and Voila I had cool pink hair until I washed it out, which was two days max.
Beware of color on your fingers but it will wash off with soap and water. Before you hair shadow make sure you already have the desired hair style you want too.
Here were my results!

On that same post I got a suggestion by an amazing artist, I mean her paintings will blow you away. Since she’s an artist I took her advice and when I saw her results I decided to try that method as well. Her name is Chrissy by the way you should check her page out called Vintage Painter.
Chrissy had an idea of using her hair pastels with hair mousse mixed together and then you would just spread it where ever you want the color. Her hair is a shade of beautiful white and she has a pixie cut so it covered her hair blue instantly and entirely when she used the blue pastel chalk.

How is it done? Here are the steps…

Step 1: Choose a non toxic water based pastel chalk color you like
Step 2: Use a grater or a magic bullet like I did to grind it up. please do not inhale the dust, it is harmful.
Step 3: pick your favorite mousse and put on some gloves
Step 4: Mix in the chalk with the mousse to create a colored mousse.
Step 5: On dry or dampened hair, spread the mousse where you want to color
Step 6: hairspray to set or allow the mouse to air dry
Step 7: comb it out a bit and you’re done!

This all lasts until you wash it out, 2 days max for me and I did not use the hairspray, that was optional.
With grating make sure it is finely milled or you will have tiny rock pieces like I did which was not fun going in your hair.  I combed it out and it made a mess on the floor. But lesson learned on that one. LOL
Overall, I was very pleased with the results although the blush and shadow is way easier and less time consuming, “Chalk Moussing “ was fun ( just made the name up). LOL and had great results as well.
I inspired quite a few ladies to try it and they too were excited and pleased with the results. Give it a try, you never know you may like it.

Posh Handbag For Less

This is such an elegant red PU Leather handbag. It is very nice in color  with an inspired crocodile texture with 3 gold zippers, a gold middle zipper, a back zipper and another gold accent zipper with a tassel that unfortunately is not functional but still stylish.
The inside has a nylon lining with a zippered pouch compartment and pockets. The red handles are decorated with gold hardware and are very flexible and sturdy. The bottom of the bag has prongs to allow the bag to sit steady and not get dirty.
I like that the bag comes with a red strap to carry the bag on the shoulders at a longer length or can be used without, the way I prefer it. I simply hold it on my forearm or by both hands.
As a bonus, it comes with a cute gray wool like change purse with the Z-Joyee name on front that can also be used a key chain.
Overall, this beautiful handbag is Medium in size and a bit stiff like an old fashioned doctor's bag but it's great for carrying all the necessities while looking chic and posh.

This eye blending brush in 04 from Ducare is very interesting.
I own many makeup brushes but I have never used a big bristle brush like this one for blending eyeshadow. First of all, my eyes are small and this brush is large. However, it really works to give a beautiful blend of shadows. I was so surprised and shocked! I used the color Door Mouse from the UD Alice through the looking Glass palette and I used the brush to apply it in tiny circular motions and it gave a beautiful blend to my crease color. I also used it for my lids with the color Salazen Grum believe it or not.
I would only use this brush to blend out not for detailing however, I would also use it as I did, for my highlighter for the cheek bones. This brush was great for that as well and if you have small cheeks, this brush can be used for blush too. Crazy right? This is a fabulous multipurpose brush made out of goat hair and it did not shed on me which I was very pleased and the barrel is sturdy and black with Ducare name on it.
I definitely give it 5 stars!
The company was gracious enough to send me the eyeliner for review as well and that too gets a 5 star rating from me.
The liquid pen liner has a flexible felt tip and creates thin or thick lines and though it's not waterproof, it lasted on me until I washed off. The reason was probably because I set it with black shadow on top. However, that's great that it did not smear or smudged even while I walking in the hot sun. So that’s pretty impressive and the best thing of all, it did not irritate my eyes. Here is my finished makeup look.  Beware Pink Hair ! LOL

Oh, I have awesome news for you guys! The company DUcare has given me a special promo code for you to use at checkout when you shop any of their products in their store. Ready for it?

This chic knee length pencil dress from Mabeler is great for a day at the office, social gathering or a night on the town. I ordered the black with white in Medium and it was my perfect size. For reference,I'm a 34 B, with a 27 inch waist and 35 in hips. The dress is made from 95% Polyester and 5% Spandex and t's great for Spring and Fall however,  since I live in a hot climate, it's appropriate to wear in air-conditioned places because out too long in the sun, I got a bit hot.
I received many compliments wearing it and I felt great in it.
I really like the open v neck design with lapels and the the fabulous collar that  can we worn up or down, the belt is very thick and can be tied in a bow , on the side or worn down. It has 4 white buttons on the center and the 2 other white button pockets on the front are not functional but stylish all the same. The dress itself is stretchy and has a half zipper on the back.
Overall, a fabulous dress! So fabulous I just ordered the Red one as well.

Feral Cosmetics Rapture Lipstick

Wow! This is such an intense wine red matte lipstick from Feral Cosmetics! It applies smoothly and leaves a vibrant finish. This lippie has so many great features starting from the pigmentation of the color which is long lasting even after eating, it leaves a nice stain behind. Unfortunately, it does not last all day but that's no problem and a little goes a long way. I have a medium olive skin tone and the Feral lipstick in Rapture looked beautiful. The second feature is the packaging. The tube is a gorgeous metallic with the Feral name printed on it and it has a magnetic closure keeping the lippie safe. The third feature is that is vegan and cruelty free. Overall, a wonderful and luxurious lipstick.
