Influenster YSL Touché Éclat Box

I was recently chosen by Influenster to receive the VIP Influenster vox box featuring the iconic brand Yves Saint Laurent.
I did an unboxing video on The Color Wheel Gallery's Youtube Channel.

You can check it out here:

Now on with the review:
The Influenster box was small this time around but its contents were high end.

The first item in the box was:

Yves Saint LaurentTouche Eclat Blur Perfector

Retail value: $55
Specs from The Sephora site:

What it is:
A blur perfector compact that perfects the skin while retaining its luminous glow.

What it does:
This portable perfector is Yves Saint Laurent’s first ever blur perfector encased within a compact. It transforms from a balm to a powder upon application to soften the skin’s imperfections—creating a transparent yet subtle, rosy-glow effect. Use it alone as an allover complexion perfector, to set makeup, or as a mattifying touch up to sweep away shine and hide imperfections. Featuring one universal shade that complements all skin types, it instantly minimizes the look of pores so that skin feels smoother and the complexion appears more even.

What else you need to know:
This product is noncomedogenic and ideal for all skintones and skin types.

Isn't she a beauty?

The final item was:

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Primer

Retail value for full size: $52
But the one in the vox box is a smaller size at 10 mil or .33 fl and the full size is 1fl oz  so I'm not sure of the retail value for the 10 mil. Maybe half of the $52 LOL
Specs from The Sephora site:

What it is:
An illuminating primer that blurs imperfections and boosts the radiance of foundation.

What it does:
Touche Elcat Blur Primer preps skin for foundation application, creating an improved, refined appearance: pores seem to be minimized, skin texture feels smoother, and skintone is more even. It’s enriched with four nourishing oils—corn oil, apricot kernel oil, passiflora oil, and rice bran oil—to leave skin feeling incredibly soft without a greasy residue. Packed with blur technology, this universal primer provides a subtle, golden shimmer for ultimate luminosity.

What else you need to know:
This product is noncomedogenic, and it’s suitable for all skintones, including sensitive ones.

Ooh, don't you just love Sparkles?

Now let the testing begin...
After I cleansed my face and put on my Argan oil moisturizer, I let the Argan oil set for 10 minutes.

Then I applied the YSL Blur Primer with the wand and used a little because a little is all you need.
I used it on my cheeks, nose, chin and forehead and even under my eyes.

The Results ...

Here I am!  with the YSL Blur Primer on and some concealer.
I was happy that the gold particles did not appear on my face and it left my skin feeling silky and amazing and gave my skin a glow.
(Mind you this is me under the weather with a cold)

After that step I applied the rest of my makeup.
I used a mineral powder foundation, then some blush, some mascara, lip liner, lipstick, highlighter for nose and cheekbones and tinted brow gel.

The next step, to try the YSL Blur Perfector on to set my makeup.
After my face was done, I took the little sponge poof it comes with and patted some on my forehead, nose, chin and neck.

This is luxury for sure! I thought my powder would slide off but it stood in place because the YSL Blur perfector transformed into a matte finish on my face. So it's true it's a balm that transforms into a powder.
My face felt so soft and silky not oily at all.

Here are my results!

Both of these high end products can be worn alone. I did just that in the first pic with some concealer and it felt great on.

I'll probably test the blur perfector that way too another day.

I threw the poof away because it can cause bacterial build up so from now on I'll use my beauty sponge or fingers.

My final thoughts:
These products are amazing and leave my skin feeling luxurious.
Are these a must have?
No, but if you can afford it and fall for the beautiful packaging then Yes!
