I have not curled my hair in a very long time because of the pixie cut and also because I am not very good with a curling iron.
I have tried countless curling irons that I have purchased and just left to the side because I couldn't clamp it and curl my hair correctly and it would come out very crimped at times so I gave up.

So when the offer to receive and review the Xtava curling iron, I was curious to know if it really worked on my hair which has gotten longer compared to my pixie I once had.

I have to say that I am very impressed with this curling iron. I found out the trick first of all do not put it too hot as you can get burned so put it at a setting that you think it's comfortable .
I first started at 250 degrees, just so that I can get the hang of which way the barrel was supposed to rotate.
So when I started on the left side of my head I used the left button that is on the curling iron.
When I began to curl on the right side of my head all I did was press the right side of the curling iron and it rotated and curled my hair evenly and it took a nice curl to it.
So all you have to do is just be careful with the heat settings and also know which little button either left or right you're going to push when working on your left side of your head or your right side of the head.
This curling iron is so simple to use and it does a great job at curling your hair. I can't wait for my hair to grow even longer so that I can have beautiful long bouncy curls because right now all I'm able to do is just curl the front top of my hair and a little bit of the back of my hair just to give it a nice volumed curled affect.
So for the look you see in the pictures below, all I did was just curl my hair without having any setting spray but then I decided to just spray some argan oil hairspray that I had just so that the curl can hold a little longer.
But again the choice is yours, you can choose to just curl your bangs or your  full head or just on the sides of your hair for extra volume.
I give this product 2 thumbs up for it's black sleek design, the beautiful long box that reminded me of flowers that it came with and for it's easy managing ability to rotate and curl your hair within seconds.

  1. This hair style really suits you dear, I also want to use curling iron to make different and beautiful hairstyles but my hairs are rough, so I am not sure if I should use it. What is your opinion?
